A temporary contact is an AA member who volunteers to help a newcomer transition from a facilitysuch as a treatment center or correctional institutioninto AA. Your responsibilities may include:

Bridging the Gap is not a sponsorship program, nor does it carry any long-term obligations. Its simply a way to help someone get connected with the fellowship during a critical transition.
